Services tor Mrs. John C. (Lena) Adama; 82, will be held at 10:30 a.m. Saturday al the Wilkins Funeral Home. Burial will be in the Payne Gap Cemetery in Mills County.
Mrs. Adams died about 5:30 p.m. Thursday at the Childress Hospital after a lengthy illness. She was born Feb, 17, 1895, in Moline. She married John C. Adams in 1917 in Moline. He preceded her in death Oct. 30, 1973. She was a member of the Baptist church.
Survivors include a daughter, Mildred Butts of Lampasas; four sons, John C. Adams, Jr., of Burleson, Willam Alton Adams of Duncanville, James Otis Adams of Saginaw, and Frank Wendell Adams of Brownwood; two brothers, Don Cook of Kingsland and Carl Cook of Lometa; eight grandchildren and four great grandchildren.
