Obituary published in the Abilene Reporter-News, July 20, 1979, page 35:

William A. Adams, 55, of Duncanville, formerly of Moline, died [on] Thursday at his home of natural causes. Services will be at 4 p.m. Friday in Wilkins Funeral Home Chapel. The Rev. Doug Holtzelaw will officiate. Burial will be in Payne Gap Cemetery near Moline.

Born Oct. 12, 1923, in Moline, he married Mary Lee Wilder [on] March 4, 1953, in Brady. He moved to Duncanville from Killeen in 1969. He was a Baptist.

Survivors include his wife; three brothers, John C. of Burleson, James Otis of Saganaw and Frank Wendell of Brownwood; a sister, Mildred Butts of Lampasas; and several nieces and nephews.
