Renay Elliott Watt, age 56, went to be with here [sic] lord and Savior on Friday, January 22, 2016 in Valley View, Texas.
Renay is survived by her husband Allan Watt; four children Joshua Duncan Amos, Derek Elliott Amos, Justin Watt and Kristin (Eduardo) Navaro; cousins, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews.
She was preceded in death by her parents James Edward Elliott and Dorothy Duncan Elliott and brother Tom Elliott.
Renay was born on December 15, 1959 in Dallas, Texas to James Edward Elliott and Dorothy Duncan Elliott. She attended high school at Indian Springs in Pelham, Alabama and graduated from William Woods University in Fulton, Missouri. Throughout her life she had a successful career in real estate. On October 24, 1998 she married Allan Paul Watt.
Renay was a devoted mother and loving wife. She was selfless and always giving to everyone who entered her life. She was an avid horse lover and talented mounted shooter. She was the best cook and made the most amazing cheesecake known to man. She will be deeply missed by her family, friends and all who knew her.
A funeral service will be held at Payne Gap Cemetery, approximately fifteen miles on Farm to Market Road 572, Moline, Texas on Saturday, January 30, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
A memorial service will be held at Midway Baptist Church, 9540 US 377, Pilot Point, Texas on Feb. 2, 2016 at 2:00 p.m.
In lieu of flowers, the Renay Watt Memorial account has been established at First United Bank & Trust for donations to help carry on her legacy (routing number: 111911321, account number: 3380416).
Arrangements are being handled by Stacy-Wilkins Funeral Home, Goldthwaite, Mills County, Texas.
