Notes
Eva was born in Williamson County on December 10, 1868, to Richard Thomas Jenkins (1830-1903) and Martha Jane “Mattie” [Payne] Jenkins (1839-1917). Eva and her husband, Levi Golden Hunt, whom she married in Georgetown in 1884, were living in the Payne Gap area by 1900; around 1890, they built the house where Glenn Dale Duncan, her grandson, was born and lived most his life. During her later years, she lived with her daughter Willie “Bill” Duncan and her husband, Orbie Duncan. Eva died on September 22, 1934, from acute cholecystitis, contributed by an intestinal obstruction and possibly renal disease in Scott and White Hospital, Temple, Texas.
