Obituary published in The Goldthwaite Eagle-Mullin Enterprise, April 15, 19714, page 5:

Funeral services were held for Orbie Duncan of Goldthwaite, Wednesday, April 14, 1971 at [time of day not legible] in the Wilkins Funder Chapel in Goldthwaite. Interment was in the Payne Gap Cemetery. Rev. Ramon Sims and Rev. E. C. Young of Star conducted the services. Wilkins Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.

Mr. Duncan passed away Monday, April 12, 1971 at 7:30 p. m. in the Childress Hospital in Goldthwaite. Born August 14, 1906 on the Baugh Ranch in Lampasas County, he was the son of the late Robert E. Duncan and Mary Frances Dodson Duncan. He was married to Miss Willie Hunt on September 25, 1925 in Moline. He was a member of the Moline Baptist Church.

Survivors Include his wife, Mrs. Willie Duncan of Goldthwaite, one son, Glen Dale Duncan of Goldthwaite; one grandson, Samuel Dale Duncan; one granddaughter, Mollie Ann Duncan; one brother, T. E. Duncan of Goldthwaite; two sisters, Mrs. A. C. Steele of Odessa and Mrs. J. D. Cook of Dallas; a number of nieces and nephews; and a host of friends.
