From The Four F’s of Moline, Texas:
ARROWOOD, Wilburn (Red) was born in Gatesville, Texas, in January 19, 1897, and passed away Feb. 22, 1962. at the and passed age of 65 years. He married Cleda Mae Cook, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Henry Cook. Cleda was born in Putman, Texas, January 12, 1903. “Red” is buried in the Payne Gap Cemetery.
When ‘Red’ and Cleda were married in 1921 they settled down on Joe Worthington’s place south of Moline for four years. Their little farm home was open to the young people of the community; and they enjoyed many parties and social gatherings there. Cleda was a member of the Methodist Episcopal Church. This church became inactive in Moline; and when the Baptist church was organized in 1924 or 25, Cleda became a Baptist Church teacher for several years. She and her class (young people) of 21 members were all baptized into the Baptist church in Bennett Creek, between Star and Moline, by Leslie Sparkman. Wilburdean [Wilba Dean], her daughter was also baptized at this time.
Red was an armed service man in World War I. He was a member of the Odd Fellow Lodge in Moline.
